Transparency about support received
Manuscripts should identify funding sources related to the work, including grants, projects and relevant material support. A grant identifier should be included where one exists.
Role of funders
The statement should explain whether funders participated in study design, analysis, writing or the decision to submit the work. Acknowledgements recognise contributions that do not meet the agreed conditions for authorship.
