Prepare a clear title, an abstract explaining the purpose and contribution of the work, and keywords to help readers find it. Check consistency between in-text citations and the reference list.
Author details
Gather all authors’ names, affiliations and contact details. ORCID identifiers are recommended, and authors should agree on the order of authorship and contributions before submission.
Supporting documentation
Depending on the study, additional materials, funding statements, reproduction permissions or ethical oversight information may be needed.
